AIRMEN old and new are being offered the chance to meet the last survivor of the famous Second World War Dambuster raids on Germany.
Squadron Leader George 'Johnny' Johnson will be the guest at a screening of a new Dambusters film ‘Attack on the Sorpe Dam’.
Ahead of the film's release, a talk is being held at the Church of St Swithin, in the Paragon, in Bath on Saturday, July 6 at 6pm.
Alongside film-maker Andre Panton, Mr Johnson re-tells the story of the historical WW2 event in the new film.
The event organisers, the Royal Air Benevolent Fund, said: "We are hoping to give people the chance to meet Johnny Johnson himself, the last survivor of the Dambusters raid and a renowned war hero."
