YOUNG people have been asked for their views on how they want the NHS to look in the future.

NHS and council chiefs in the region have launched a new campaign, called Our Health, Our Future, urging everyone to have their say on how health and care services should be provided across Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and north east Somerset.

Their answers will form a five year plan, published in the autumn, detailing how people will be able to access health services.

Tracey Cox, of Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Groups, said: "We especially want to hear what younger people expect in the future from our services."

GP Dr Brynn Bird added: “We know the way in which health and care is provided will change in the future, especially as our population ages and services come under greater pressure, and we’re developing a plan for how we will face these challenges."
