A NEW bathroom showroom opened in Swindon, following a £100,000 investment.

Easy Bathrooms opened its doors for the time on Saturday morning on Great Western Way after six weeks of preparations.

And the company will be donating five percent of its profits to community radio station, Swindon 105.5 which relies essentially on grants, donations and corporate support.

About this new partnership, station manager Shirley Ludford said: “It is a time for us to look forward and widen the radio’s support for the business, education and wider communities of Swindon, whilst seeking financial support for our service through sponsorship, donations and advertising.”

The new showroom is Swindon’s largest bathroom store, with 8,000 sq ft of bathroom and tile displays, over two floors.

Store manager Adrian Hedges added: “We are extremely excited about the launch of the showroom. I have worked in bathrooms for 13 years and I have never seen such an inspirational store.

“We genuinely want to create something which Swindon people can use at their leisure, to create the bathroom they want.

“But we also want to give back, which is why it was important to choose a local cause to partner with. The radio station is brilliant, and we look forward to even more fundraising opportunities in the future.”

The showroom has 70-fully-tiled displays and will be open seven days a week, with free parking available. It has created four full-time jobs for the Swindon community.
