FORMER RAF personnel who may feel isolated and lonely now have a place to meet up in Calne.
On the first Monday of the month members of the Royal Air Forces Association meet at Calne's Community Hub and Library from 10am to 1pm.
"It's a chance to meet up with like-minded people," said deputy welfare officer Michelle Ouzman, "as some ex-RAF people can lose touch and become isolated especially if they are unwell."
Tea and biscuits are on offer as well as befrienders like Hilary Bridgeman and her welfare officer husband Geoff. They can help with welfare and health issues.
The next date is July 1, and the one after that is August 5.
