A Swindon man charged with criminal damage to a defibrillator at Great Western Hospital will appear in court on Monday.
Police arrested Jason Salt, 44, from Rosebery Street on Friday evening at GWH'S Accident and Emergency Unit after a defibrillator was damaged beyond repair.
Officers charged Mr Salt with criminal damage to property and remanded him in custody earlier today.
He is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on June 3.
