A TIMBER firm that opened in 1872 has closed and reopened after being bought out.
Oscar Windebank was founded in Box by the titular owner and has traded ever since.
It has moved after being purchased by businessman Odran Heale of Corsham from Red Lion 83. he has relocated the business to premises off Potley Lane in the town.
The original owners sold the business to Mike Atley in the 1970s before it was sold on again.
Mr Heale said the business stocks timber from international sources and is in demand mainly from local furniture makers and joiners.
