UNSEEN footage and archive material will be put on display in Great Bedwyn as part of an exhibition about Bedwyn’s buildings.
The Archive Exhibition will take place on May 25 and 26 in St Mary’s Church in the village.
Included in the exhibition will be stories and photographs about medicine, recreation hops and businesses through the years within the rural community.
As well as these themes, the team of organisers have discovered information about key buildings in the village. These include the railway, Bedwyn’s lost buildings, The Malthouse, The former vicarage Glebe House and the village hall.
Famous residents also feature in the show which uses archive material dating back back more than 00 years.
The event is free to attend with donations to the Bedwyn History Society welcome.
Archive Exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm on both days over the weekend and refreshments are available there all day.
