THIS summer sees a number of events at Bowood ranging from workshops on gardening and photography to a pop concert.

Art director Matt Inwood is holding a day long Instagram workshop on Monday, July 8, tailored to people who write food blogs. It will show through a tour of the gardens and practical illustrations of how to use the internet for marketing.

On Friday, July 12, Clive Nichols is staging a photography workshop on how to take pictures of gardens and flowers including his dos and don’ts.

Gardening and floral craft workshops will run through the season with Michelle Wake and Louise Bastow including one on Planning Planting on Friday July 12.

Bowood House & Gardens is open daily with tours of the gardens. The next one is on Friday, May 24, with one of the Walled Garden.

There is a family themed event for the bank holiday weekend of May 25-27 when large tractors and machinery will be on display.

A triathlon is set for the weekend of June 29-30, while on Saturday, August 3, there is a Classic Ibiza concert.

In contrast there's their Classic Car & Motorcycle Show on August 18, and the Wiltshire Game & Country Fair on September 28-29.
