THE life of an Edwardian charity pioneer will be recreated in a one woman show in Marlborough next month.
The actress Anne Chamberlain will bring to life the founder of Save The Children founder Eglantyne Jebb at St Peter's Church in the town on Friday, June 7, at 7.30pm.
Jennifer Brisker of Pewsey who volunteers for the charity said Eglantyne's legacy has saved thousands of lives since she launched the charity in 1919.
Eglantyne taught in Marlborough, and the town was marking the centenary of Save The Children with a number of events including the one woman show. Tickets at Whitehorse Bookshop.
