A LOCAL choir aimed exclusively at the self-confessed vocally challenged has been catapulted into the public eye after a video of one of its comedic performances was shared on social media by The Wurzels. Taking their place in this year’s Calne Spring Sing event for the very first time, Chippenham Tuneless Choir sang their own unique renditions of a number of popular songs, including the 1976 Wurzels’ classic, Combine Harvester.
News of the choir’s performance reached the legendary Scrumpy and Western band, who then shared the video on their Facebook page, announcing, ‘This’ll make ya smile! Gert lush!’ With The Wurzels having well over 71K social media followers, Chippenham Tuneless Choir’s performance has already had thousands of online views and received hundreds of reactions and comments.
