A medium size white van left the carriage way on the A338 in Collingbourne Kingston earlier today, crossing a busy pedestrian footpath and demolishing metal fences before embedding itself into a roadside property.
There has been two road traffic incidents in two weeks within a 100 yards of each other in Collingbourne Kingston.
The driver was taken away by ambulance from today's crash.
Responding to the crash, resident Paul Cordwell said: "The A338 is a particularly dangerous road along its whole length, but even more so through the villages of Collinbourne Kingston and Collingbourne Ducis, where the road narrows into chicane like race tracks."
