ONE of Chippenham's best known dance groups was remembered at a talk and reunion at the town museum last month.
On Friday, March 29, former members of the Chippenham Starlettes met its founder, Betty Hooper who spoke at length about the group as part of museum’s Objects in Focus series of free talks.
The Chippenham Starlettes were formed in 1953 by Betty and Bill Hooper as a dancing school for children staging shows in the Neeld and dancing displays for many years.
The current exhibition at the museum is What’s in Store: Behind the Scenes, is open until Tuesday, April 23.
