FIRE and rescue crews were called to a blaze at Townsends Garden Centre last night.
The fire broke was a bonfire that got out of control and threatened to spread onto storage units.
Fire crews quickly put out the blaze at around 11pm last night.
The Garden Centre posted this statement on their website: "As you may have seen we experienced a fire on site last night.
"It was away from the house and shop and was under control very quickly.
"We would like to thank the fire service for responding so quickly and controlling the fire so there was limited damage.
"We are closed today due to Sunday Licensing Laws but will be open again tomorrow as usual.
"Thank you for all you kind messages and thank you again to the fire service. Happy Easter."
