A POTENTIALLY dangerous robbery took place in Corsham when a knife was pulled on teenagers.

The incident happened on Friday, April 5, at 8pm, when a group of five teenagers were robbed on the Recreation Ground off Meriton Avenue.

They were approached by two men who showed them a knife and demanded they hand over money said police. The teenagers handed over £10 and the men then ran off down Meriton Avenue towards Pickwick Road.

Det Con Aaron Rowe, of Melksham CID, said: "The two suspects are believed to aged about 18 or 19 years old, and both are described as tall and thin, wearing black and grey tracksuits. One of the men had brown hair, while the other was blonde.

"They were in company of a woman, although we do not have a description of her.

"Fortunately, there was no physical contact between the groups, but of course this incident would have left the victims feeling shaken up."
