EMERY Gate Shopping Centre in Chippenham has announced the 2018 winners of its Faces of Emery Gate modelling competition.

The duo are Catherine Bialley, 24, who recently started a new career as a Contact Centre Officer for the Wiltshire Police, and 19-year-old Lewis Hands, currently working at O2, They are both Chippenham residents.

The lucky winners enjoyed their prize of a professional photo-shoot and took home £300 worth of shopping vouchers each.

Plus, the two models have set the tone and style for the 2019 Emery Gate website make-over.

Winning the competition was particularly special for 19-week pregnant Catherine, with the photo-shoot images becoming a memento of her first pregnancy, amidst her recent move to Calne to start her new career.

Catherine reflected on her experience. She said: “The photo-shoot was a lovely experience and it was wonderful to represent the town I called home for so long.

“I thoroughly enjoyed it and was made to feel at ease throughout the whole day by the team.”

Phil Maclean, Senior Marketing Manager at Emery Gate said: “We’ve absolutely loved running the 2019 competition and each year it gets more and more exciting.

“Picking just two winners was no easy task. This has been the third year we’ve run Faces of Emery Gate, and we wanted to do it a little differently this time; really capture the nature of the town, something never done quite like this before in Chippenham.

“That’s why we chose to do the photo-shoot in the vibrant hot spots Chippenham has to offer as well as its hush-hush secret nooks that don’t get seen every day.”
