DEVIZES Mayor Andy Geddes has launched a new Young Citizen award and wants to receive nominations before April 8.
The award will go to someone aged under 23 who has made major contribution to the welfare and life of the town through voluntary activity.
The town council already gives out a number of civic awards for adults but Cllr Geddes also wants to recognise the work of young people.
The award will be presented along with the other awards at the town hall on April 11.
