The town of Marlborough and Gunjur in Gambia have strong links
BONDS between the Gambian town of Gunjur and Marlborough will be further strengthened with the annual quiz night next Thursday (April 4).
The fund raising event organised by the Marlborough Brandt Group (MBG) will be at St John's Academy in Marlborough at 6.45pm with a cheese supper and a pay bar.
Teams of four to six are welcome, at £10 per person and £5 for students with champagne and the grand trophy for the winning team.
The quiz night supports community projects such as the planned summer trip in 2020 to the town as part of mutual learning through reciprocal visits, and a development programme.
