A MAN has died following a car crash on the A4361 near Broad Hinton on Sunday, (March 10).
The fatal collision took place between a blue Chrysler Voyager and a grey Peugeot 106. It happened at 3.18pm on Sunday on the main road northbound, just before the village of Broad Hinton. Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident in which the two vehicles collided head on. The driver of the Peugeot, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wiltshire police said a coach with young people was associated with the collision, but nobody was hurt on the coach. The road was closed for around eight hours.
Police said: "We are appealing for anyone with information about the collision, including anyone who has dash cam footage of either of the vehicles involved, to call PC John Armstrong from Tri-Force on 101, quoting log 224 of yesterday (10/03/19).
