A FAMILY firm of agricultural machinery suppliers in Marston near Devizes have got hitched to tractor manufacturer Kubota UK.
Howard & Sons, has been involved in the agricultural industry since 1968, starting as beef cattle and cereal farmers, before switching to supplying farm machinery to farmers in Wiltshire and east Somerset.
Since then the company has increased its operation by expanding its facilities in 2006 to include a spray booth, grit blasting facility, steam cleaning, an engineering lathe, milling machinery and a container loading bay.
Rob Howard, the service manager at the Marston firm said: “Kubota’s heritage and experience made it an easy choice for us, as farmers across the UK are seeing the industry change dramatically and need tools and equipment that they can rely on."
Howard & Sons will stock the M-series Kubota tractors, including the M7 and M4, L series as well as parts.
