PEWSEY Male Voice Choir has a new choral director in the form of composer and musician Graham Coatman who picked up the conductor's baton last month.
He moved to the South West from Yorkshire last year and has taken on the role amongst a number of musical commitments.
Mr Coatman gained his BA (Hons) music degree at Bristol University, following this with postgraduate studies at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London, and at Nottingham and Huddersfield Universities.
As choral conductor he has worked with choral societies and chamber choirs and is the Director of 20,000 Voices, promoting the benefits of singing through masterclasses, courses, performances, workshops and projects.
