RESIDENTS of Cepen Park South and Derriads volunteered their time to clean up the area at a community litter pick in Chippenham.
The clean-up was organised by local Wiltshire councillor Peter Hutton, and the group was joined by Chippenham Town councillor Chris Ruck and team members from the nearby McDonald's - making a total of about 30.
The litter picks are organised several times a year, and have taken place for the last four or five years. On this occasion, the volunteers collected 20 bags of rubbish, to be collected by Wiltshire Council contractors.
Cllr Hutton said: "Once again I was delighted to see residents from Cepen Park South and Derriads attend the regular community litter pick I organise and the continued support and help offered from the staff at Chippenham Mcdonalds.
"By continually working together and with the support of both local councils it can only help improve the street scene within the community area."
