TWO 15-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs in Penhill.
A public tip off led officers from the Dedicated Crime Team to raid the address, following concerns of a vulnerable person living there.
The teenagers were found inside with mobile phones and large amounts of cash.
A hammer and a large kitchen knife were also found.
Sergeant Danny Salmon said: “This incident is a good example of the public acting as our eyes and ears and alerting us to suspicious behaviour at an address.
"When we receive information of this nature, we will take action as quickly as possible to ensure vulnerable people within our communities are protected from the threats associated with county lines drug gangs.
“We continue to urge members of the public to report any suspicions they may have that drug dealing is taking place – call us on 101 or 999 in an emergency. If you are also concerned for a person’s vulnerability and safety, please also contact us on 101.”
Gangs from London operating so-called county lines are known to target addicts to use their homes as cover, known as cuckooing.
