PUPILS at Sheldon School in Chippenham are celebrating success in the district heats of Youth Speaks, a national public speaking contest.
In teams of three, pupils prepared and delivered a ten minute speech. Sheldon pupils chose a variety of challenging topics, with Bea Badelley-Chappell, Alex Sutton and Freya Webb runners up in the senior heats with their speech entitled Doors, while Emily Cooper, Molly Wright and Josh Edwards won first prize and a place in the regional heats for their speech on man's best friend.
