The play area in Avebury Trusloe is in need of updating said parish councillors
A NEGLECTED playground in Avebury Trusloe has been the subject of a survey to find out how it could be given a new lease of life.
The playground is for children under 14 years of age and its equipment is showing signs of age.
Cllr Lynzey Paradise announced at the parish council meeting last week that a majority of those who completed the play area survey will use it if it is updated as in its present state 69 per cent thought the facility was poor.
Zip wires and a picnic bench were among suggestions to improve it and Cllr Paradise said she will investigate costs.
