THE weather has dominated the work of the village ranger in Pewsey with snow to clear the parish council heard on Tuesday.
The ranger has also been emptying the village's litter bins and picking up litter while the litter picker was away.
In the last two weeks he has filled 72 black bin liners reported the town clerk Alison Kent.
She said she thought it was a "staggeringly high amount of litter" for such a small place and that the council may wish to develop a litter policy. However the chairman Cllr Curly Haskell said the litter situation was much worse in Tidworth to which the clerk replied: "We're not Tidworth, we're Pewsey."
