AVEBURY: After various planning applications for felling trees the parish council will look into adopting The Tree Charter as a policy guideline.
Horse on the run
DEVIZES: Police took to social media to ask for help after a large chestnut gelding horse was spotted at Allington on Monday. The horse was caught and taken to safety and later reunited with its owner.
Winter ale festival
DEVIZES: This year’s Festival of Winter Ales will be held in the Corn Exchange on Friday evening and all day Saturday to raise money for Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts other events throughout the year. There will be a wide range of ales and live music. Go to .docadevizes.org.uk/winter-ales/
Forest school fun
RUSHALL: An Easter egg hunt and chance to pet lambs and other farm animals will be on offer at Saplings Forest School at Black Knoll, Pewsey Road on April 20 from 10am to 3pm.
New music school
