Maths inspired cakes proved popular at St Mary's primary school when pupils took part in NSPCC Number Day 2019.
They brought in a silver coin to wear their own choice of clothing with a mathematical theme - such as numbers, shapes, patterns and symbols.Children also put their maths skills to use in a home project, making maths inspired cakes for a sale, and raising a total of £350 for the charity.
During Number Day children took part in lots of different maths activities, such as measuring, money, times tables dancing and quizzes.
One pupil said: "It's been the best day ever and now I can eat cake too!"
