THE Annual Wiltshire West Scout Cooking Competition was held at Southwick, organised by the Assistant District Scout Commissioner Brian Fitchett assisted by members of the District Team, with guest judges Beryl Strange and Doreen Rogers.
Six teams took part from four Troops, Bowerhill, Bradford on Avon, Broughton Gifford and Holt and Warminster. They had to prepare a three-course meal on the theme World Scout Jamboree Past, Present & Future with a budget of £18. The teams were very inventive with their menus and prepared world cuisine, very delicious.
The winning team were Bradford on Avon Pegasus Pioneers, Olly, Luke and Sebastian, who cooked up a marvellous vegetarian starter and main course and finished off with a yummy lemon and lime Key Lime pie.
The winners will go on to represent the District at the County competition on February 24.
