AVEBURY: On Tuesday parish councillors thanked John Giles for his repair of the Millennium bench in the village and replacing the plaque.

Council roadshow

DEVIZES: Town councillors will be in the Corn Exchange for a roadshow from 10am to 1pm on February 14 to discuss any issues. It will be an opportunity to ask about Market Place car parking.

Date with ales

DEVIZES: A festival of winter ales organised by Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts will be held in the Corn Exchange on February 15 and 16. There will be live music and wide range of beer to sample. Tickets from Devizes Books, The British Lion, The Vaults and the Wadworths Visitors Centre.

Hospice auction

DEVIZES: A silent auction to raise money for Julia’s House is to be held at the Conservative Club from 1pm to 9pm on Saturday.
