QUICK-witted comedians are once again heading to the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester, for an evening of entertainment.

The Comedy Club, hosted in conjunction with Funhouse Comedy, will see comics Steve Royle and Sean Percival take to the stage in The Cellar for a barrel of laughs on Thursday, February 28.

The event will also feature resident compere, Ignacio Lopez - a frequent headliner and MC in top comedy clubs across the UK.

Cheryl Webber, sales and marketing manager at Kings Head, said: “February’s comedy line-up is another corker. We love to hear the laughter echoing up from the cellar during our comedy nights and this month’s gig is going to be another hilarious evening.

“Steve Royle is an award-winning former court jester, and has supported both Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour.

"Some may even recognise him from his television appearances on Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere and Stand-up Britain. He’s absolutely one not to be missed – he can juggle too, so we’re sure it’s going to be a very funny night.

“Joining Steve for the evening is Sean Percival – he’s been a regular fixture on the UK’s comedy circuit since the nineties and has since toured the world with his witty shows. He’s done the rounds at all the big UK festivals too, including Glastonbury and Reading. We’re delighted to have him take to the stage in the cellar this month.”

Doors open at 7.30pm with the event starting at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 per person and are strictly for those aged 18 and above.
