Tree felling
PEWSEY.Trees in The Grove area by the River Avon behind the Cooperative supermarket are to be visited by tree surgeons this month. Some may be felled, others pruned and some pollarded. They below to the parish council.
Amateur bunch
RAMSBURY. The actors of the village will take to the boards in March with their production of A Bunch of Amateurs. The Ravensbury Players are staging the drama by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman from March 28-30, at the Ramsbury Memorial Hall.
Salary on offer
LITTLE BEDWYN and CHISBURY. The post of parish clerk in the villages is vacant with a salary of £440pa, with two to three hours work a month. For information on the role contact Nina Weatherill on 01672 870749.
Gardening Society
RAMSBURY. The society's AGM will be in the Church Rooms on Back Lane at 7.45pm on Monday, January 28. New members are always welcome.
Classical music
MARLBOROUGH. Jennifer (violin) and Jeremy Pike (piano) will be in concert on January 20, at the Memorial Hall at Marlborough College at 3pm. Music of Vaughan Williams.
