The Wiltshire Council's next free and inspirational #EPIC Talk, on January 29 at County Hall from 5.30pm, has a focus on the future of employment in the digital age.

Rachel Neaman, who runs her own consultancy firm, is the guest speaker and the talk is titled ‘Rise of the Machines – the future of employment.'

Rachel will explore the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on the future of employment, and the implications and consequences of the accelerating pace of tech-change on the workforce.

Jo Pitt, Wiltshire Council director for human resources and organisational development, said: “We are delighted to have someone of Rachel’s standing in the industry to speak at our event. Rachel’s topic is extremely timely and I’m sure will provide some serious food for thought for those who attend. Our hope is that these events spark conversations, ideas and debates and the response so far has been great.”

Rachel Neaman said: “With the growth of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning already transforming the workplace, there is no better time to discuss the realities and the myths of this new world and to look at the implications for jobs, skills and the economy. I am delighted to be joining Wiltshire Council to debate these important issues.”
