STAFF and residents of a care home in Marlborough have been serving lattes, selling gifts and running a summer fete to raise cash for Alzheimer's Support.

Their charity mission has paid off to the tune of £400 in the last few months for the charity when Savernake View Care Home handed the organisation a cheque.

A spokesman for the home said: "As a home that provides care and support for residents living with dementia, as well as for nursing, respite and residential needs, Alzheimer’s Support was a popular choice when it came to choosing a charity to support in 2018."

The Marlborough care home fundraising efforts included a summer fete, the ‘Ladies that Latte’ group, the Marlborough Food Festival and a Christmas Gift Fair.

The cheque was presented to Sarah Marriott of the charity by Anita Moore and Sharon Villegas of the home. Anita said, “It makes me really proud to see all the hard work residents and staff have put into fundraising."
