Volunteers gathered at Calne Town Hall on Christmas Day to provide a free lunch for local residents who would otherwise have been alone over the festive period.
A traditional Christmas lunch was prepared by the deputy town mayor, Coun Robert Merrick, along with an enthusiastic team of helpers who gave up their afternoon to serve the lunch, wash the dishes and prepare the vegetables.
The mayor of Calne, Coun Glenis Ansell said: "We had such a good time. Our helpers were awesome. Thank you to everyone involved!"
Organisers say the lunch was greatly enjoyed by all that attended, and thanked everyone who helped, as well as the local supermarkets who donated food.
Each guest had a host to make sure they had someone to talk to and provide help when needed. Music was provided by Katie Stevens, a talented local performer.
Other guest visitors included Georgia Holmes Calne's own Young European International Mrs, along with Young European International Miss Lincolnshire Paige Warren.
