Crews tackle two blazes within an hour
FIRE crews from Chippenham tackled two incidents within an hour of each other this evening.
They were called out at 5.11pm to attend a chimney fire at Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa at Colerne.
Crews tackled the fire using buckets and chimney rods and the fire was extinguished by 6.06pm.
Later, a retained crew from Chippenham Fire Station attended a fire at 6.17pm involving newspapers in a car park opposite the old Police Station in Wood Lane.
The fire was extinguished using buckets of water and was under control by 6.32pm.
