BAKE Off star Briony Williams delighted students at Poplar College in Chippenham when she dropped in with a homemade cake and a signed Bake Off book for the raffle at their Christmas Coffee Shop on Tuesday.
This was the second visit for Briony, from Bristol, who made a visit in October and helped the students with some baking.
Briony started working on her baking in 2013, and makes decorated wedding cakes and novelty bakes. She was a popular contestant and made it to the final four in this year's Great British Bake Off.
Every term, students at Poplar College, in Cocklebury Road, open a coffee shop and for this Christmas edition, sold seasonal decorations and cards alongside the coffee and cakes.
Administration officer Rachael Martin said the students were thrilled to event was a great success: "We were really pleased and had the most people we've ever had."
She added: "Briony is so fun loving. She has a great manner with the students, and gets involved with them."
