A TROWBRIDGE mum has urged Dorothy House supporters to take part in its Santa & Elf Run on Sunday.

Bethan Good, from Trowbridge, said: “I’d highly recommend the fun run to anyone so throw on a Santa suit and enjoy a jog or walk in the countryside.”

Mrs Good is taking part in the fun run on in memory of her mother, Margaret Smith, who was cared for by the Winsley hospice in September 2015.

She said: “Last year was the second time I took part in the Santa & Elf fun run and I really enjoyed it. It was a great chance to raise money for a wonderfully caring hospice.”

Now is the last chance for people to enter the 8th annual Santa & Elf Run as entries close at 12pm today.

The 2.5k or 5k fun run is open to all ages and will be held at Bath Spa University.

Last year almost 300 runners took part in the fun run and raised over £11,000.
