To celebrate their new sponsorship deal of Coronation Street, Harveys the Furniture Store, is launching a search across the country to find real Coronation Street namesakes.

In conjunction with the famous street, Harveys will be searching the UK to find people with the same names as the current Coronation Street cast.

So if you are named Ken Barlow, Steven MacDonald or Vera Duckworth? Then Harveys wants to hear from you!

Harveys are hoping to find at least one person who shares their name with a current cast member of Coronation Street, and are open to finding as many Liam Connors or Maria Sutherlands as possible.

All namesakes who enter will have to prove that they share their name with a Corrie character. Entrants will be invited to answer 3 multiple choice questions and a tie breaker. One overall winner will then be invited down to the set of Coronation Street at Granada Studios in Manchester, where they will get a tour and take part in a photoshoot as well as make Coronation Street history.

"We aren't looking for look-a-likes just namesakes, there is no age limit for this so you can be a 5 year old Vera Duckworth or an 80 year old Sara-Louise Platt as long as you have the same name you could be invited down to the most famous Street on television"
