Hundreds of residents gathered outside County Hall in Trowbridge this morning to protest against the closure of Larkrise, Rowdeford and St Nicholas special schools.
The closure of the schools in Trowbridge, Devizes and Chippenham was proposed by Wiltshire Council as part of plans to open a new £20 million super-school for up to 350 special needs children at Rowde.
The county’s Cabinet meets this morning to decide whether the proposal will go ahead.
