YOUNG fans of the novels of JK Rowling dressed up as their favourite characters to celebrate the launch of The Crimes of Grindelwald: The Original Screenplay.
The costumes and activities ran throughout the weekend at Waterstone's, in Borough Parade, Chippenham, and coincided with the release of the new film, the second in the Fantastic Beasts film series.
Around 20 youngsters came to the store dressed up to represent characters from the films or the Harry Potter novels.
A competition involved working out an anagram from letters held by various fantastic beasts around the shop, with plenty of colouring and activities for younger fans. The competition winner will receive a copy of the new book.
Manager Tom Fryer said the event proved to be fun for the youngsters and dozens of copies of the new book were snapped up by JK Rowling fans.
"We do a number of events like this over the year, the last one of which was at Halloween," he said.
