LEGENDARY punk outfit The Blockheads will be performing at Chippenham’s Neeld Community and Arts Centre on Sunday November 25.

The band is fronted by Derek Hussey, best friend of the late Ian Dury, and the retrospective set will be packed with hits such as Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, Reasons To Be Cheerful, What A Waste, and Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.

Their last studio album, Same Horse Different Jockey, was released was released in November 2013, on the 35th anniversary of the release of Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick. The album continues to show the band's diversity, quality and distinctive style.

The band is made up of front man Derek, with Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, John Turnbull and Mick Gallagher from the original band. The current line-up is augmented by John Roberts on drums and a rolling line-up of saxophonists that includes Gilad Atzmon, Terry Edwards and Dave Lewis.
