AUDITIONS for Shakespeare Live's 2019 production, tragic love story Romeo and Juliet, will be held on November 18 and 19.

This production will be set in Victorian London, with an emphasis on the violence and tragedy inherent in the play, and it will be performed in the gardens Cleeve House at Seend, from July 8 to 13.

The play has characters of all playing age, so anyone interested is invited to register through the link, where character details.

The roles of Benvolio and Tybalt will be played by women, with possibilities of other cross-casting considered, providing it fits the tone of the production.

The auditions on November 18 take place at Cleeve House, and on November 19 at King William IV pub in Coombe Down.
