Chippenham Motor Company is hosting a charity concert featuring the Lyneham Military Wives Choir on December 1.

Enjoy mulled wine and a mince pie while the choir

performs a selection of Christmas carols in the centre of the MRG Volvo showroom, in Methuen Park in Bath Road, Chippenham.

The concert will raise much-needed funds for the charity Wiltshire Home for Veterans, and only 100 tickets are available for the event - so book soon.

“This is an absolute first for us,” said Catherine Fallon, of Chippenham Motor Company.

“We’ll have the Christmas tree, and the choir will be there singing carols.

“As it is 100 years since the end of the First World War, veterans will be in all our minds, and homeless veterans more so.”

Wiltshire Home for Veterans offers housing and support to ex-Service personnel who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.

The Lyneham Military Wives Choir formed in January last year, and is comprised of serving military veterans and military wives.

The concert starts at 6.30pm and tickets are £6, under-12s free. Book at http://www.mrgcars.co.uk/christmas-carols/.
