A NEW beauty salon near Malmesbury is supporting Alzheimer's Research UK all through the month of November with a donation from every booking.
Beauty by Hand, which opened in May this year in a renovated barn on the Charlton Estate, was set up by Melissa Hand, who has 15 years' experience in beauty therapy.
Her aunt has been making and selling Christmas decorations for the charity for many years, and these will also be for sale at the salon.
"Book a relaxing massage, rejuvenating facial, enjoy a manicure, pedicure or just get yourself festive-ready and whilst you’re being pampered," Melissa said.
"Feel good that you are also supporting a deserving cause."
More than a million people in the UK are living with a form of dementia, Alzheimer being the most common.
