The Calne Singers raised around £1000 for Prostate Cancer UK at a sell-out concert in Marden House on Saturday.
Choir founder Pam Stevens said: “We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the local companies in Calne who donated a wide range of raffle prizes, without their support, this event would not have been such a great success. I would also like to thank the people of Calne and surrounding areas who bought tickets and contributed to the great atmosphere on the night!”
New members are welcome to join the women's choir which meets Wednesdays 12.15pm -1.45pm at the Lansdowne Strand in Calne.
