A spokesman for Wiltshire College, Chippenham, where Aimee Mead was studying beauty therapy, said: "Aimee was a fun loving young lady and very outgoing."

Paul Weller, Simon Harley's former head of year at Sheldon School, said: "Simon will always be remembered for his cheeky grin and great sense of humour."

Sian Widdicombe, of Avon Automotive where Simon had worked for six months, said: "Simon was very popular and will be sorely missed."

Mutual friend Sam Turk, 19, has organised memory stickers for friends and family to put in their cars. She said: "Aimee was a great mate. Simon was just as lovely. He was a cheeky chappy who was perfect for Aimee. Now they'll be together forever."

Zoe Miller said: "Simon was a quality person who was a very close friend of ours. He will be greatly missed. We only met Aimee once but she seemed like a great girl and made him very happy."

Kerry Izzard, who has been best friends since meeting Aimee at a driving school was the friend who introduced her to Simon. She said: "I had a call telling me there was a crash in Dorset and Aimee and Simon were dead.

"I couldn't believe it. I'd planned to call Aimee the night of the crash to see how the holiday was going but I felt too ill."

Cousin Jermaine Pedley, who lives in Chippenham, said: "Simon was a big Manchester United fan and I'm hoping to buy a Man U shirt to get it signed by all of his mates and to give to his mum."
