A DYNAMIC new Wiltshire accountancy firm has been shortlisted in the prestigious national British Small Business Awards.

Purple Lime has been nominated for the title of Accounts & Tax Advisors of the Year in the national awards now in their third year.

The company, based at Hartham Park, Corsham, was established in 2016 by co-founders Angela Ashworth and Oli Thomas.

They wanted to create a company with a fresh and modern approach to accountancy by using the latest finance and accounting technology offering a time efficient, tech-led and live data service.

Purple Lime is shortlisted alongside ten other companies nationwide, including R&D Tax Solutions, Propel by Deloitte and The VAT People.

Oli Thomas said: “We’re really thrilled to be nominated for this national award when our company is only in its early years. It’s an important recognition of our innovative approach to accountancy.”

“We are equally proud to be part of an initiative designed to celebrate small businesses – a sector which is so vital to economic prosperity however is routinely overlooked and undervalued.”

Since 2016, the Purple Lime team has grown to seven team members. Clients include Corsham Institute based in Wiltshire and London, IOTEC Global (London) and MFV NSE Ltd (Bristol) Fine & Country Homes (Bath) Rally Agency (Bath).

The winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 31 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
