TEACHERS at Queen’s Crescent Primary School in Chippenham have been seeing familiar faces five times over, as they have welcomed five sets of twins into this year’s reception classes.

The youngsters have been challenging their teachers to remember which names go with which faces - but having other sets of twins in their classes has helped them all to settle in.

Admin supervisor Carol Boddy from Queen’s Crescent said: “We are excited to welcome five sets of twins to Queen’s Crescent School this year.

“Fortunately for the teachers, all of the twins are non-identical.

“We have settled in three sets of boy/girl twins and two sets of girl/girl twins.

“The twins came to us from three different nurseries and, as we have a two-form intake, they have been spread across the year group.

“It has been a delight to see them grow in confidence and make many new friendships.”

Queen’s Crescent Primary School will be holding an open day on Thursday, October 18 for parents of children who are due to start to school in 2019. Call the school on 01249 460190 if you would like a tour.
