THREE Daggers remain top of Trowbridge & District League Division One following a 1-0 win at Freshford United, Mark Young scoring the only goal of game for the visitors.

Heytesbury thrashed visitors Hilperton United 6-0 at Heytesbury Park thanks in no small part to a Craig Sheppard hat-trick.

Charlie Waylen, Myles Woodward and Liam Gibbens also scored for the home side who now sit in third place.

A seven-goal thriller at Woodmarsh saw Melksham Town take the three points from hosts Trowbridge Town Reserves, winning 4-3.

Kieran Green and an Alex Pippard brace were on the scoresheet for the home side, but Oli Gee, Cameron Thomas and a Kieron Pearce won it for Melksham.

There were four fixtures in Division Two and they produced a whopping 28 goals between them.

Unbeaten Calne Town Reserves led the way with a 9-0 hammering of Greyhound FC at Bremhill View.

Six Trowbridge & District League sides were in Wiltshire Junior Cup action, ironically all being paired up, with three Division One sides facing three Division Two.

Holt, Semington Magpies and Calne Eagles all progressed through to the next round.

Holt beat visitors Lambrok Rangers by the odd goal in three, Ryan Underwood and Adam Mercer on target for the villagers, while Dale Rowland replied for Lambrok.

Semington Magpies beat Zeals by the same scoreline at Littlemarsh, although they came from behind and needed extra time to do it.

Toby Clarke and Jake Abbott saw the Magpies over the line as Adam Cudlip scored for Zeals.

Calne Eagles had no problems progressing to the next round, winning 7-0 at The Stiffs.

The Eagles goals came from Josh Madle, who bagged a hat-trick, Mickey Taraskevics, Cody Haines and Stef Winkler.
