ROYAL Wootton Bassett Orchestra will welcome instrumental players of all standards, for their Music from the Movies open rehearsal on Saturday (13th) at the Methodist Church, High Street hill, 11am-4pm.
This is a free community event, for musicians and audiences. Led by Musical Director Alan MacRae, the day will focus on music from Pirates of the Caribbean and Gladiator. No booking is required and instrumentalists of all ages are invited to come and join in.
Children and young people will have opportunity to see how an orchestra rehearses, and can ask questions and perhaps even try an instrument.
Refreshments will be available and lunch is being provided for the players. The event will end with a performance and everyone is invited to come along for a brilliant introduction to the full orchestral experience.
